2023-04-14: Content & Tooling Team Status Update

Puppet 8 is Coming and Puppet 6 is Going!

Hey, not much to tell this week as we’ve been continuing to work on getting support for Puppet 8 out into all of our Tools and Modules!

Each change in support will be preceded by a fresh release to help make the transisition as simple as possible for everyone involded. While there may be some dependency issues that come up in this process due to the nature of the major releases made we ask for your patience and hope to get this done quickly so we can all get back to our normal work.

We will be releasing a number of release candidates for our tooling over the next couple of weeks. They will allow us to safely test Puppet 8 and Ruby 3 support without too much disruption. The release candidates will be publicly available on and your feedback is welcome should you want to test them out.
