Happy Summer Friday
Hey everyone, it’s Friday! That means it’s time to look back at the week that just passed. We hope you’ve had a good week and are looking forward to a well earned rest this weekend.
Module releases
We are currently working on releasing most of our modules after implementing compatibility with Stdlib 9.x. This proccess, however, is proving to be lenghty due to some issues we are facing as a result of some maintenance we carried out recently.
Node encrypt
We now officially support puppetlabs-node_encrypt, a module which allows you to encrypt secrets in your catalogs using the agent’s certificate. This week, Jordan continued to work on this to ensure the module is in good condition and ready to go. You can check out puppetlabs-node_encrypt on the forge.
New hire
This week, Prajjwal Gupta has joined our team in Pune. He will be focusing on our Modules alongside Parvez and Sencha, so many of you will start to see him pop up on PRs and issues that you are working on.
Finally, to close this weeks blogpost, we have a small introduction words by Prajjwal Gupta:
I started my career as a data analyst but turned to Software Engineering for my interest in developing products. I have experience in the development and analytics domains for about 1.5 and 1.2 years respectively. Apart from work, I am always up for adventurous activities, have trekked two medium level difficult treks namely Harihar and Kalsubai fort till now, looking for more. Always ready for cricket match. I am excited to join Perforce, face new challenges and solve them. Looking forward to working with you all.
